The midlife crisis continues…

I jest. I do of course plan on living to much older than 64. However, what with the delivery of my new car, together with my most recent escapade, I am concerned my actions could be deemed somewhat midlife crisis-like.

joe and emily - tattooBut fuck it. I’ve wanted this new addition for some years and seeing as my dear friends Joe and Brinnie were having a day at the parlour I took the opportunity to join them and get something done myself…

Drum-roll… (bigging it up far too much)

I got a new tattoo!!

Yeah sorry, that’s it. But It’s a nice one 🙂20140411_165740

I’ve always wanted latin script on the side of my foot. Why foot? Well until 18 months or so ago I couldn’t drive. Not legally anyway. So I was dependent on my good ol’ plates of meat (yes. Work with me. Feet! Well done.). And as far as what to get, I wanted something inspirational(ish) but not too clichéd, and it had to be relevant to me.

I can’t protest to there being many examples, but if I really, really want something (like certain trips, holidays, concert tickets, celeb meet ‘n’ greets) I generally find a way to make it happen. It may take years, but i’ll get there in the end.

So the phrase I went with was…

Aut viam inveniam aut faciam

I will either find a way or make one

got something to say?
